What are Threaded Inserts?

Threaded inserts are commonly used as a fastening element in plumbing works. This is also called as the threaded bushing. It fastens the object into a threaded hole; the idea is to close any gap that may be inevitable due to threaded inserts for wood standardisation of fastening products. Threaded inserts may be used to repair a stripped threaded hole; it also provides a durable threaded hole in soft texture. They enable elimination of machining operation by insertion of mold or cast threads which are typically thicker than the regular thread used for plumbing material.
